Is Christianity supposed to produce joy?
Yes. Joy is fruit of the Spirit. Constant pleasant feelings are not promised. A system that only grows fear and shame should be examined.
The kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Jesus spoke of His joy remaining in us.
Joy is not a bonus sticker. It is part of spiritual life.
