What does it actually mean to walk by the Spirit instead of keeping a religious list?
The Spirit leads you into love. A list can name good things. It cannot give you life. Freedom is for walking with God, not for ignoring Him.
Paul said if you are led by the Spirit you are not under the law. That is not permission to harm people. It is permission to stop using the law as your master.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness. Those show up in how you treat someone today.
Sit with God. Hear the urging. Do the next loving thing. That is the walk.
