Why is serving other people so central?
Self-giving love is what life with God looks like. We become more alive as we give life away.
Jesus redirected greatness toward service. The Christian life moves us out of isolation toward usefulness in someone else’s good.
Whoever tries only to keep life loses it. Whoever gives it away finds it.
Service is not extra credit. It is the shape of love.
