What does it mean to take up your cross?
Not merely putting up with every hard day. It is surrendering self-centered life to join Christ’s self-giving way.
Jesus’ cross is self-giving love. Following Him moves us from protecting self toward serving God’s love for people.
This is still a working answer. The call is clear. Not every hardship is equally a cross.
Fruit is evidence, not currency. Cross-carrying is love, not self-punishment to earn God.
